About
Hi, and welcome to PDX Romantic. My name is Kory McDow and I have a confession to make. I love being romantic. I think about romance when I see two people sharing a romantic embrace at the airport. I feel the love when a smile passes between two people over dinner at a local restaurant. And yes, I even think about romance when I’m eating Banana Nut Crunch in the morning.
In fact, I think about romance so much that I started this blog, to share some of my thoughts about romance and, in particular, how to be romantic. Many of you are already well adept in being romantic with your partner. Some of you even know how to woo an interest of yours. And a few of you may need a little help in how to be romantic from time to time.
I hope each of you will find something valuable within these pages. Any advice you receive from reading this website should be consumed and digested at your own risk. I will not let my conscience be filled with guilt if I write something like “be more romantic with your partner” and you misconstrue it and end up having to sleep on the short couch. (Not the long one, that’s reserved for making small mistakes in your relationship.)
Connect
The best way to connect with me is to comment on the posts. Let me know your thoughts and whether you agree or disagree with my point of view. There is, after all, more than one way to be romantic. (If you thought I was going to say skin a cat, you couldn’t be more mistaken. We’re animal-friendly around here.)
An alternative way of connecting with me is to visit the contact page. Fill out the form and say something nice. We can also connect via Facebook, Twitter, or Last.fm (music to listen to when thinking about romance).
Subscribe
The best way for me to connect with you is for you to subscribe to this blog. You can subscribe through the RSS Feed or by entering your email address here.
I hope you enjoy PDX Romantic.
Stay Romantic,
Kory
